Labeled “Goddess of the Bodice” by the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Athena has performed with the hit-show Bustout Burlesque (running monthly at House of Blues New Orleans) since early 2006. Athena is a New Orleans native, but gets her exotic good looks from her Greek heritage. This well-rounded entertainer sings and dances, making her a favorite among audiences. She has appeared on the MTV productions My Super Sweet Sixteen, O Music Awards, and MTV's MADE. She also appeared in an episode of HBO’s Treme. In 2012 and 2013, Athena performed with Bustout Burlesque at Viva Las Vegas at The Orleans Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. In 2013, she auditioned for the celebrity judges on American Idol, receiving the golden ticket to Hollywood. Athena performs annually in The New Orleans Burlesque Festival, and debuted her own hi-energy revue, Siren of the South at House of Blues in September.
